Calling all runners! Lace up your running shoes and come to Edgewater Park to fight hunger on June 23, 2018. All proceeds benefit St. Vincent de Paul Society’s hunger centers, which feed more than 14,000 people each month. After the 5K, enjoy tasty tacos from Barrio’s food truck. Friday, June 22, 2018 is the Share the River Ramble, a summer festival marking the 49th anniversary of the Cuyahoga River fire. St. Malachi is the event’s charity partner. The festival kicks off at the Cleveland Rowing Foundation in the Flats (next to Merwin’s Wharf) and features a 2½ and 5 mile walk/run along the river, food, music and beverage. Please consider supporting this event either by registering for the walk/run ($20, t-shirt included), volunteering at the St Malachi booth, or attending the festival.

This Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM all parish leaders are encouraged to attend the Parish Calendar meeting in the school library. Together we will review and schedule meeting/events for the year. This will help us to see the “big picture” in planning for our parish and avoid any scheduling conflicts. We will work quickly and finish our work within 90 minutes.
Join us at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 to learn about and pray with St. Catherine of Siena. She started her spiritual journey as a laywoman associated with the Dominican order of friars and nuns. She was inspirational to the Church even in her own time.
