Effective Sunday, December 1, 2019 Fr. Michael Gurnick becomes the Parish Administrator of St. Malachi. Fr. Gurnick is currently the pastor of St. Patrick Parish on Bridge Avenue, appointed on March 9, 2018. Fr. Gurnick brings many years of experience to St. Malachi. Ordained in 1998, he served in several parishes and also as vocational director throughout the Cleveland Diocese. Before joining St. Patrick Parish, Fr. Gurnick was the Secretary and Vicar for Clergy and Religious. Being the pastor of one of our partner parishes, Fr. Gurnick is familiar with St. Malachi Parish. Fr. Gurnick shared that he is looking “forward to this next chapter in his life and ministry among the people of Saint Malachi.” This will be an opportunity for all of us to work more closely as disciples of Christ here in our near west neighborhood.
