Pope Francis Quote-08/01/2020
Pope Francis warned against “those who are always hunting for the limitations and defects of others. Instead, it is those who know how to recognize the good that silently grows in the field of the Church and history, cultivating it to maturity, who are able to collaborate in the vision of God.”
Pope Francis, Angelus Address, July 19, 2020
Your Feedback is Needed!
The Sunday Mornings at St. Malachi’s Group has been meeting to plan Sunday programs for the parish. Your feedback is needed. Please take a few minutes to complete a survey and provide us with your input. We are sensitive to parishioners that have different levels of comfort during this unique period of time. Homeless Jesus Statue On Display At West Park United Church Of Christ
This week, the traveling Homeless Jesus statue, a visual representation of Matthew 25:40, moved to the West Park United Church of Christ. The statue travels our community to raise awareness of the homeless tragedy in greater Cleveland and to remind us to show love, care and compassion to our less fortunate neighbors. The statue will remain at West Park UCC from now thru Aug 18, 2020. West Park UCC is located at 3909 Rocky River Dr (south of Lorain). After that it will be at Grace Church in Middleburg Hts. until Oct 12, 2020. It is a powerful work that is always on a park bench outdoors so there is no need to enter a building to see it. It is worth walking close to it to view the face and feet.
