The Parish Life and Hospitality Commission, along with some faithful volunteers, is hosting a social time after the 8:30PM Easter Vigil Service on April 4th. We are looking for people to bring some food items to share. Bakery, fruit and other “finger foods” would be most welcome. If you can help us, please contact Chris Dusek at 216-631-6961 or Terry Jungquist ( email@example.com ).
On Tuesday, March 24, Tim Grady is our Everyday Prophet. Tim is director of Boys Hope/Girls Hope, a Jesuit founded program that works to develop the “whole child”. We start at 12:30 (after noon Mass) in the hall. Everyday Prophets is a lunchtime program to celebrate the work & dedication of those in our community who serve others. Speakers also share stories of their own life’s journey. Bring a lunch (beverage & dessert are provided) and enjoy the stories, fellowship, and inspiration shared.
African American and Native American Annual Appeal There is a second collection at Mass this weekend March 14 and 15, 2015. For more than 100 years, the Church has had a strong program of evangelization for the African-American and Native-American communities. Many diocesan parishes and programs, including St. Malachi Center, have received funding from this collection.
Lectors, Eucharistic ministers, servers, and ushers are needed for the Holy Thursday (7:30PM), Good Friday (3PM) and Holy Saturday (8:30PM) services.
Sign-up sheets are in the sacristy.
Please consider serving to help with the most sacred time of our liturgical year.
