St. Malachi Church is again sponsoring “Samaritan Ministry,” a FREE two-session program of education on alcoholism and substance abuse. The program is especially designed to help interested persons develop a deeper understanding of the effects of alcoholism and substance abuse on an individual’s life and the lives of family members.
Topics include: an overview of alcoholism and substance abuse, medical aspects, substance abuse and personality development, family issues, substance abuse and the adult child, the twelve steps, treatment, recovery and prevention.
(All are invited to bring a brown bag lunch – beverages will be provided.)
